Ill try, but my wife likes the neon tetras, so i dont any lower jaw will work, plus the rainbow shark and redtail shark only grows 6"-7" and idk how thick they get, but if my wife forgets about the neon tetras ill put some senegal for sure.

sharks, especially the red tail have been known to be very bothersome to other bottom dwellers, keep that in mind too

Did some research and they say they are territorial to their own kind, but nothing serious. So im planing to have 4 redtail and 4 rainbow since they are cheap, if it dont work then its gonna be a poly upper jaw tank, lolz

Thats the idea, to spread the aggression. And one thing that i watch is when growing them together they are not that aggressive to each other.

I guess it varies by fish, my larger African knife is approaching 6" yet rarely even snaps at his smaller counterparts. So much for aggressive to others of their kind

Knife fish can become really territorial, i had a clown knife before and it always attacks the oscar and the green terror.

Mine don't appear to be, and only nudge their tankmates. There are 2 pipes as well as a piece of wood.

The second piece of wood is pretty flat but has a lot of space underneath for them to recline under with the ever elusive syno. no disputes really
