Just an FYI, these are Malagasy cichlids, so the Central Americsn section is probably not the best place to query for them.
Dave's in Texas may have access to them, and I checked Wet Spot but they were out.
You'll need very large tanks.
When I had them the menarambo hit 15 " and quickly, and easily out grew my 6 foot tanks, and even the maculatus needed to be moved into 300 gal enclosures, and because they are best kept on shoals require lots of space.

Easiest to keep were P kieneri because they will tolerate 6 ft (150 gal tanks) long term

Dave’s has them in stock currently and damii. Predatory Fins has them regularly at larger sizes along with menarambo.

One idiosyncrasy I have learned about many of the damba species, is that they are a shoaling fish, and if purchased at the same time in a young group, and raised together they do best.
But....if that shoal is some how interrupted by adding more individuals, or removing even one, the entire group dynamic can be turned upsde down, and fall into aggression and chaos.

They also have an entirely separate auditory system than all other cichlids (exept the Indian Etroplines) and are know to be sensitive and can be negatively effected by the sounds of certain filtration system pumps.
