I have just ordered six of these guys and they should be in the mail in couple of days? I know these guys are highly aggressive . But i was just looking for people experience with them and how fast do they grow

My friend ordered 6 from Rapps late last year and I was able to get one from him. I ended up with a female is she is 6 inches now. A member here ordered at the same time and his male was 7-8 inches now and the other male 5 inches. Obviously, the bigger one is the more dominant and grew faster. they were less than an inch when we got them. I have 6 right now that I got from aquabid and they are growing faster in a community setting (8' tank) with some cubans, beani's, & RTM's. I give them freeze dried spiruina/bime shrimp by hikari, garlic soaked sinking pellets by Ocean Nutritions, and frozen krill,brime shrimp & spirulina by hikari.
Aggression will begin immediately. Provide plenty of hiding places. Keep the temp around 82-84F. I have fed mine anything from 60% protein growth pellets to 35% spirulina flakes with no problems. They grow really fast. They are not always easy to sex. My male developed a decent hump an I could sex him pretty early. He is 8" plus now and eats like a pig. No better fish for aggressiveness and personality IMO.

Yes, they are very aggressive towards each other. My friend lost all his due to aggression. My grow out tank is big enough to spread aggression so hopefully I get a paid before I move them to different tanks. Even my big pair right now is separated.
i was planing on putting mine which are about an inch each in to a 40 gal better so start off with and are the prone to bloat?
