Yeah 7 months ago it's the only survivor out of around 10. I haven't kept an istlanum in years so I honestly I didn't think anything about.

So is it really that bad? If so I have a culler on stand-by
 
Just my opinion I don't like the look of its head. I have had Reds before and they didn't look like that. Looks a bit like a deformity.

TBH I wouldn't trust Gage anymore as he seems to be long gone for the last few years and Have heard that the conditions of his vats are not very good.

I think I agree with you and cyberman. I usually grow out a group and keep the best. However all the others were killed off by the stress this one put on them and I just now started taking a really close look.
 
I have another batch coming and ended up getting a good size Honduran jag as well. This time I went with coa. If the quality is anything like the customer service I will be stoked. I'll post pics once everybody gets settled in.
