He would if I'd let him have the chance! I pulled the divider about a week ago when I saw she was ready again. They went through thier routine and she was looking for a spot to lay. She was cleaning off the rock you see in the pic but he just goes wild and eventually chases her around the tank till she hides under a few pots I have in there. I put the divider back in that night and the next day they spawned. These were one of the toughest pairs to spawn. I can understand why there are so few around.
Don Conkel told me that he had a vat with 6 breeders in there and eventually ended up with one male!
Just want to say thank you Joe for bringing these in from Mexico. Thanks to you, hopefully we can spread some of these around!
