your going to heat this thing outside in the winters? you have some nice parents

Actually there is quite a difference in the winters from North Florida and Orlando. About twenty years ago, there were coconut trees here. Then there were several years of freezes that killed them all. (Global warming??? :screwy: ) Anyway, the cold nights will be offset by the day time temps.

??

I ran into a problem.. With the filter, I planned on using my 2 peices of acrylic left to make a smaller tank 5 peices to be my wet/dry tank. than I was gona need 3 peices to hold the media. But the peices are only 35"L x 28 " tall. And if i end up cutting it its gona be a small ass cube i think.

I planned on using a small tank just for media than have a hole drilled in the side and have the water drain from the media tank to a rubber maid tub, where the pump will be. But i dont know if that will work.

Lmao i havent thought about it yet... I think im not gona stock it till winter is over, lol i wont be able to stock it for like 5 weeks anyways do to it cycling.

You're not seriously going to wait 5 weeks for that thing to cycle are you.. There are faster ways to get it cycled like using old media, bio-spira, etc

I have to, My parents said we can get it setup and running but untill x-mas i cant put any fish in it.... So when its done and the filters running and waters in the tank im throwing in like 5 crappy fish and waiting.. That wait is gona killlllll me.

We are finishing the stand today, the only thing we need is 1 more peices of wood for the other cabinet door. they only has 1 of the kind we liked.

Also, i think i talked my dad into setting up a drip system :) NO MORE WATER CHANGES!

Yup yup I'll go take some now, we are staining the wood right now and sanding it. We are gona router the tank and im gona make the smaller tank today.

Heres some pics, i'll have more today.
Also some pics of my Pbass they own feeders but only when im not near the tank... ***!
