It is time to build my new shark pond

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
all ready have a pair of black tips and i have a Bonnethead shark already in a temp tank waiting for the new pond to be finished

any info on the filter :>(

That filter won't do much for you. Coating the stainless parts will inhibit it from working right... and salt water will destroy stainless in no time at all.

Which parts are SS? If you're going to machine impellers or such, and they're large enough - I didn't look at the details, just a quick look at the pic - you could try a material called Macor. It'll last forever, and is non-porous, and is easily machined (with quality tooling). I've used it before for high heat, or high corrosion environments.

the parts that have to be changed is the center cage the rest is clamps that I was thinking of replacing with plastic ties

just finished with the epoxy pool paint. all down hill from heir ( i hope, a leak can change that) any way i just updated my site with a Part #2 that has it all. I am so happy I love being at this point .

the epoxy paint was way to thick to put on the stainless steel part in the filter.
any one have any recomindations on a product that i can use to make the stainless steel parts save for my my saltwater pond.

Very nice job on the ponds. They look great. Gave me some ideas as well.
