Hot fish made hot water From what I heard, today, Thursday, is going to be the hottest day of the week, could hit 105F in the valley. Fortunately, the big air pump that I bought from Rich last year help out a lot. My tank temp is in 86-87

94 F is like my winter

Here in the summer, during the day, it's almost always above 104
I think today is 110

Not the hottest day we'll see, the worst is yet to come


But it actually works out, seeing as most of my tanks are in my room, and my room faces the sun directly. So my room stays warm and so do my tanks. Saves on electricity, theres also lots of water evaporation

last year about this time we hit 119 in some parts of the valley, and it gets even hotter near Lake Havasu City

Usually our hottest month is in August, we've hit upwards of 120-125

That's not to say its all the time

But damn, it sure does happen quite a bit

Either way, it scares away all our snow birds that come for our 70-80 degree winters
