Itchy African Malawi cichlids.

Sometimes it's gill flukes, sometimes African Cichlids just do this. Mine do it sometimes and they do not have gill flukes.

Mine have been rubbing on stuff for so long. They look fine, no missing scales, or white spots.
Their fins are full, every thing is good, then about once a day. They will bounce of the sand bottom 3 or 4 times in a row. Then their back to picking algae off the side of the rocks.

mine have been doing this for 2 years daily. All my parameters are good and no ich or parasites. I think Africans just do this. Now if you are seing signs of white spots or losing fish thats a differant story otherwise just leave it be. Remeber to add salt to replace your water changes
