They are not where they should be as far as size and development that is for sure. I am just going by the size of the filter intake I could be wrong

Never did anything with rays. 2nd time ever posting on the ray side. I am usually strictly catfish. And I was do 2 worms a day. I'll start feeding more. Thanks for the input guys. Also my one ray swims up against the current when it's dark is that normal?
The swimming sounds fine. But (and I don't mean to pile on here) two worms a day is completely inadequate for a ray of any size. These guys eat A LOT! I'm kind of surprised you've managed to keep them alive on that.

If you look in the ray section, there is alot of pictures, especialy in the media lounge, there you can see how they should look, so that you know when your there Good luck on them! A tip, cut nightcrawlers in small pieces, put them in a box with small pieces of market shrimp, let them stay for a few houres or overnight, and feed the shrimp pieces.. that way you trick them to belive that the shrimp is nightcrawlers(smells the same).. Shrimps are way better food to bulk them up with, and alot easyer for you aswell, probably cheaper too.
get yourself some Canadian night crawlers. you can get them at any wal-mart for around 4 bucks a dozen.
take out 5 and cut them up into half inch pieces. leave the un-eaten pieces in the tank.
AS SOON AS ALL THE PIECES ARE EATEN...cut up three more and dump them in the tank...if they eat all of that...add more pieces of worms.
you "might" want to get you a dozen feeder gold fish that are in good health and leave in the tank too.
goldfish arent heathy for rays but they can help put some much needed fat on those rays...
you might also want to put a nice blanket of blood worms on the floor of your tank.

thats actually the sign of a healthy ray. a active ray should do just that. swim up and down the glass...against the current.
they should always be looking for food...not including the half hour after you last fed them.
rays you need to worry about are rays that dont eat and stay buried in the sand for long points of time.
i also wouldnt sell the rays in this shape. they might not take the shipping well. i wouldnt ask for more then 50.00 each.
tigs are always snappy but they never do any damage to the rays i have had a 24inch tig in a tank that pups were born in with no probs
you will always get aggression in a mixed comm tank its all down to what you are willing to put up with
as for rays and tig its never a prob tigs are doppy fish they will snap at the rays when feeding
but you have no need to sell
if you only got them 7 months ago then you should know a fair price for them its what you paid
if they are feeding well on pellets they should be fatter than that
