I see nothing wrong with an all cichla tank.. keep us posted on it. I'm going to have to get a camera I can take a pic with and post some pics of my tanks. I can't get anything but blur lol.

this is what i keep my bass with:nilly:

Well, if your cichlids were larger growing species then I would say yes. Grammodes grow slowly to around 6-7" and gt's rarely get over 8" which makes them both food.

I do have a little grammy in a classroom tank growing and I will try it with my bass when they are in the same size range. The GT is a consideration at this point,I may not get one and you can say what they rarely grow to but I have seen them well over eight inches.I will have plenty of time with my grammy before I have to be concerned about my bass growing to the size where they can consume seven and eight inch fish.

forget the other cichlids....get more cichla. :naughty:
That certainly is a possibility.:)

Hey R1, what type of pbass is that in pic #8? I'm not very good at identifying but looks kinda like a pinima to me...

to Krichardson, not trying to sound rude but I think you'll have a hard time getting your grammodes and pbass anywhere close to the same size unless you starve the pbass. Grammodes grow REALLY slow, the pbass will outgrow it very very quickly...
