It won't kill them immediately, but exposed to these temps over time it might. Luckily this summer has been pretty cool and my temps are staying around 75f.
I would love to move the tank in my basement, because it would be so much cooler. Winters it gets cold though. I would have to start running heaters again.

Yes, it was about some green swordtails with spots, like the Rio Otapa. I think I asked if yours had spots at a small size.
Unfortunately I won't be able to retrieve your response lol.

They do show spots quite early on about half inch.
But then again so do many other wild swordtails. I believe it's the continued brown line that distinguishes otapa swordtails.

Thanks for the info. I've been seeing a lot of xiphorphus helleri from different catch locations for sale recently, and they can be quite different in colors.
