Well she just laughed at me and said "you're funny" then looked at our daughter and said, "daddies funny".

Abit off topic but...I read the name of the thread 'Its impossible to get out' and when you hover over it, it tells you the first line or words of the thread, and it said. ''My wife just had a baby', so when you put together 'Its impossible to get out...my wife just had a baby' I thought of something else...but anyway congrats.
 
You're not too far gone... you didn't mention trading the baby in for a tank. That's when an intervention is in line... or a straightjacket.
