It would seem that there are really only two species. Those that starts out as fries with the horizontal lines along their bodies like Tems and those that start out like the fries of Monos, Ocells, and Orinos. The diferrent looks as adults are just geographical expressions for whatever reasons that are non-genetic.
I'm just happy to be able to identify fish as Peacock Bass, and skip the mambo jambo involved with the other names.
