Is that a good price for NTTs?
My LFS has 2 different sized NTT's right now. They have a 3" for $55 and a 4-5" for $65. The price is reflecting a 1 specimen buy though, so in other words if they bought more it would be cheaper.
Either way to me it's an awesome deal and if I was near you wouldn't get the chance to buy them:D

Sweet. Good luck!

Yea haha. I was wondering if the NTT has a quicker growth rates than ITs? I have them in a 55, and just need to know when to go buy a 125. I was going to buy one in August is this too late?

No they don't have a faster growth rate but they should reach a good 6" about the same time as it takes IT's. People say that they rarely see an NTT get over 12" but they can surpass that. I remember seeing one on here that was 15".
If you power feed these guys they should reach about 8" in the first year. After that it's about a inch a year but I hear some people have grew them to 12" in 2 years(IT's and ST's ofcourse) but you'd have to gut load them daily on a good pellet like massivore.

Alright thanks. I know I can count on you for advice regarding dats haha. Well is my plan for a 125 in August/September timeframe ok? Yea I have my ITs eating carnivore mixed w/ market shrimp and my NTT eats a little bit of that, but mostly shrimp.

Oh sorry I meant to answer that;).
Yes you will be fine. Can even put it off a little bit if need be.
Yeah when I feed shrimp they all go balistic on it. When I feed the bloodworms I usually do it by hand, they ram my hand really hard accidently. They have a really hard jab.
