it's really annoyed me..

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
All the best with the DE. It is most likely it will occur as it is quite normal with silvers. Similar to Hayn I bought up my 3 silvers the same from a 10g to 180. But after that they reside in a pond. All of them have DE on one of their eyes.
You do need some upgradation plan in place for your boy.

Gar88:yeah,as long if my family allow me to..because my 150 gal have house one 60 cm RTG for 15 years,so maybe they think it's enough, and the RTG never gone wild.i afraid my aro will be like that also,my RTG now grow from 15 cm to 40 cm in only 5 or 6 months...i don't know what monster will he become in next 5 years

Ahh my bad for assuming that was a Silver. Pic didn't help :) So you wouldn't have to worry about DE.

Haha.sorry,i take it in very bad position.yeah, agree about their fast growth..hope your recover soon, man

It might of jumped and hit the top of the tank.

it will take a few months to grow back, main thing is keeping the water condition right & the right food, no other way to speed up the healing. I think young fish grow scales back faster. I have a 2ft red who lost a scale 2 -3 months later & its almost back to normal with the colour on the scale coming back nicley

ok,thanks about you guys tip and info..oh yeah, about temper,do RTG get more aggresive as they grow older toward other species?

Yes my aro scares me sometimes when I'm sleeping n I jump out of .my bed like ahhhhh lol...when water starts to drip from the top of the acrylic he thinks its food or something
