My 6" Striped Raphael Cat has managed to get himself stuck in a 1.5" PVC elbow.

I tried to push him out- pull him out to no avail.

His fins on the sides which don't move close to his body is the reason he is stuck.

I tried sawing the PVC, but the cat stresses from being out of the water.

I was thinking I could use a SMALL amount of clove oil to knock him out, but I don't know if I can use it on them.

HELP

I would not risk using clove oil or you run the risk putting it down. Cats have pretty tough skin, if it were me I would force it out. If it got in there on its own power it can't be so stuck that it can't be pushed out (pulling is a no no). Just find something soft to use to push it out, like the hose of a python. Even the handle of a small net with the rubber coating would work in a pinch. GL :(

I tried the end of a net- the rubber part, and it's super stuck. And the angle he's stuck in there, if I push him forward, his face rams into the turn of the PVC and then he's even more stuck.

It doesn't help that this was attached and glued to PVC to begin with and then cut.. so there is a lip on both ends inside.

I'd saw it under water in the bath tub or something. Then I'd force him out by screwing an adapter on the pvc and use water pressure tp push/ help him swim out. Not sure if that made sense to anyone but me lol.

Is the pipe wider than his head, with just his fins holding him in? Just a thought, but maybe he doesn't want to come out.

Yes its wider than his head but he does try to get out and he can't.

Id get some tank water, enough to fill at least 6 inches of a bathtub and saw it off in there...

Like I said. Seems like the best course of action.
