Like I said. Seems like the best course of action.

Not really though..

Let me be more specific.. carefully saw out both sides of the pvc pipe and it will split open, thus no need for a pump to push him out :P

Sawing through a pipe with a live fish inside seems like a bad idea. The possibility of injuring the fish seems quite high.

GL! i had to disslodge my common plec from petco (adopted/saved) cause the stupid lady cause she scared him into a hold and got stuck

ehh?

My plan of actions right now is to saw each end of the PVC where the lip is. And see if that works.

Then if that doesn't work, I will TRY to saw through the middle without causing harm to the cat.

My fiance will be the one doing this, as me with a saw = injury. haha.

I figure he's in there, not really caring- just chilling, so he can stay in there until tomorrow when my fiance can try to get him out.

This is what I get for moving him to a different tank because he hid too much. haha.

lol.

Just make sure when you are sawing both sides to not go all the way. Im pretty sure that if you leave a very thin layer on each side you can pull it apart at the end and do no harm to the fish.

No saws. Just crush the pipe with wire cutters, cutting along the length of it, like cutting a ring. It will fall away in chunks and you will easily avoid harming the catfish. Unless you're just captain butterfingers.
