Actually... you are right. Golden Pothos come from the same family as Philadendrain under Araceae. Dracaena frangrans, Dracaena deremensis, Dracaena marginata are toxic to mammals, but not to reptiles.
Urgh, I hate this... what is toxic to reptiles may not be toxic to mammals and vice versa. Then you have animal toxicity versus human toxicity.

The only thing I feel safe about buying now are Ficus and Triodia. Even Ficus are known to cause dermatitis though.
