I agree that they have liability because one of their employees died on their property. Its just not Walmart who makes news every black Friday, this tradition has been going on since long before Walmart started to go national, all department stores have looked forward to this day but I dont recall anyone ever being trampled to death.I dont know what beefed up security other establishments employ but back when I used to work in retail allthat I witnessed at this time of year was the store manager doing just what this poor fellow did. I agree with Ang that these people need to be sought out and locked up.Its just a damned shame that this person had to die at the hands of a bunch of money wasters,I hope all the stuff they bought gets broken as soon as its given out.krzr3000;2496739; said:Well...they are going to have some liability considering this is nothing new. Every year on black friday walmart makes the news for this. They should have had tighter security, barriers...whatever to keep things under control. They are certainly somewhat at fault for taking minimal action.
Seems like the typical retail store with limited staff. Well i have to say with a superpower like walmart, they have no excuses. Human rights, quality of life, SAFETY....who cares right?
