Managed to get some not-so-reflective shots of the dominant Ram today while focusing on the new angels.

I like em' too but I'll never have only two males in a tank again. They will fight to the death even in a large aquarium with lots of hiding places. Monsters? YES!

I honestly don't know the sexes of mine, but I have 3 blue and 1 gold in a 55gal tank (with lots of other fish), and they don't really bother each other. They flare and get into 'disputes' occasionally, but nothing serious. As for keeping them alive, I never tried them before now because I'd always heard they were one of the most pain in the ass cichlids to keep alive (along with discus), because their water params and such had to be PERFECT. I finally bought some because my water is actually so soft, that I had to add crushed coral to my filter so it wasn't TOO soft for the group. Now they're perfectly happy and healthy, and all I have to do is my regular water changes
