For the non-believers.....
They said I couldn't keep all five species of Parachromis in the same tank. I did. Then they said I couldn't keep all five species of Parachromis with males and females. I did. Then they said I couldn't keep all five species of Parachromis with males and females and have them spawn. I had five breeding pairs at once. Then they said it would never last. It lasted for YEARS. Then they said I could never grow out fry to adulthood in that same tank full of stone cold killer eating machines. I did.
This is all well documented here. This is my reputation. I don't have any pics of the dead Oscars like the dead Comet. But is it so easy to doubt a 14"-15"+ Oscar? If you haven't seen an Oscar bigger than 13", you haven't taken care of you Oscars, lol. They're the easiest fish to grow large. If I told you I had a 16" Comet goldfish would you have believed me? If I told you I had a 7" convict would you believe me?
Look, this dovii is only a little over four years old. I didn't claim to CURRENTLY have the world's largest dovii. This is not an overnight quest, just as it took me YEARS to prove you could keep Parachromis together. I can do it because I know what fishes like. I have the proper enviornment. I Know how to manipulate fishes' behavior based on enviornmental factors I control based on experience gained from the community. And I'm patient.
Believe it or don't. But I've done fish stuff that is harder than making a fish grow big, lol.
