For the non-believers.....

They said I couldn't keep all five species of Parachromis in the same tank. I did. Then they said I couldn't keep all five species of Parachromis with males and females. I did. Then they said I couldn't keep all five species of Parachromis with males and females and have them spawn. I had five breeding pairs at once. Then they said it would never last. It lasted for YEARS. Then they said I could never grow out fry to adulthood in that same tank full of stone cold killer eating machines. I did.

This is all well documented here. This is my reputation. I don't have any pics of the dead Oscars like the dead Comet. But is it so easy to doubt a 14"-15"+ Oscar? If you haven't seen an Oscar bigger than 13", you haven't taken care of you Oscars, lol. They're the easiest fish to grow large. If I told you I had a 16" Comet goldfish would you have believed me? If I told you I had a 7" convict would you believe me?

Look, this dovii is only a little over four years old. I didn't claim to CURRENTLY have the world's largest dovii. This is not an overnight quest, just as it took me YEARS to prove you could keep Parachromis together. I can do it because I know what fishes like. I have the proper enviornment. I Know how to manipulate fishes' behavior based on enviornmental factors I control based on experience gained from the community. And I'm patient.

Believe it or don't. But I've done fish stuff that is harder than making a fish grow big, lol.

Making fishes grow big is easy, lol.

What's the point of the thread then? Just to say "Hey everybody I'm growing the worlds largest Dovii, nuff said!" Lol! Or are you hoping to start a bit of controversy by making claims you don't intend to substantiate? As that is the logical conclusion of making claims with nothing to substantiate it with.

I have given you your props in this thread for keeping a Parachromis comm. I said it was no small feat, but no matter what someone has done in the past the logical conclusion isn't to assume that everything someone may do afterwards will be a success. I've kept Armatus successfully some would say that they're one of the hardest fish to keep long term I've also kept them in a Cichlid, Gar, Curupira community with no problem with people saying it wouldn't work and despite those accomplishments I don't think everything afterwards will be a cake walk nor do I make threads just claiming something with no proof other than me referencing previous success. Apparently you care whether people believe or don't as that's the whole point of threads making claims, your not asking a question your asking for accolades. Which is fine I do too when ever I post up a pic thread or other thread hoping to show off an accomplishment, I'm looking for some recognition to a degree. To claim one doesn't want attention when posting claims on a public forum is illogical at best.

Which as I said makes me wonder what's the point of your thread then?

Give the Man a chance! He just reappeared, and is most wellcome, on da house!

He is an old hand, as are you, Kolt. Who knows if he has a camera on hand? Jeesus...

By the way, I'm not doubting. I'm just showing you the competition.
