how come i get a quote for a boxed frame stand, and the dude has put diagnol braces all around and yet yours and hulons stands dont? either, one is over built or the others are under built ( for cali standards)? heres a link for a 84x48x36 stand

Damn, that's over built!! LOL..
But reason they build it like that is because of the cabinets they put on it... By looking at they're pix u can see how they will be mounting the cabinets..
As far as hulon's build for me.. It looks perfectly braced and sturdy enough to hold over 10,000lbs.. or shall I say, I've been told because of the material that's used.. The weight I listed is more than what's gonna be put on top. So all is great in California, I suppose. =-)

I may be mistaken but this link on their site has only 4 diaganal braces yes they are longer but serve the same purpose they just made them longer to look more dramatic ..Mine that i built for mike has (16) corner braces Mine actually has (12) more plus one more (2) inch brace front and back more then that company Yes they have two on the side but not neccisary unless you are mounting cabinet's to it and even then not necc. Unless the doors will open then it is..My build is more symetrical and evenly spaced with the steel i will look again but i believe the same amout of steel just place differently....the braces of mine top bottom front and back are place every 21.5 inchs all the way with 2 inch boxed steel taint going nowhere Boys :grinno::grinno::grinno::naughty:
