Ive come to a sad realization.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Any idea what these parts are called yet? If I decide I should want to in the future, would I be able to take the plugs out if I chose to do so?

I used bulkheads from the fish store and pvc plugs from lowes to close 4 wholes in my 265.

You can pvc glue the plugs in the bulkheads then when you are ready to remove them all you need to do is get new bulkheads which run a few bucks. I'll take pics of my if I can find my camera

I think Ive decided to keep one of them in. After re-looking at the tank, One of the bulkheads (the one for the return on the left side of the tank) has a peice of PVC on the bottom that would have to be cut off, then the bulkhead could be removed. I think I will just leave that one in there. It is a return, so no water should go down it and that one doesnt leak. As for the others, the problem one will come out today, I will replace the one bulkhead (the only non-faulty one left), get one more from the LFS and replacement tubing for my filter (originally ran on a 55g tank, so the tubing is too short for this tank), then head off to Lowes or Home depot to pick up the plugs. Tank should be cycling by tuesday or wednesday! :)
