Sounds like a slow process. If you just search zinc, which I miss spelled before, it comes up with a lot of results. I don't have direct exp, I've only read about it, just trying to save you.

Looks like it's a gradual thing... Was considering leaving the office now to go home and save them from the zink...lol, had no idea...Figured if stock can drink safety from them for years and years plus exposed usually to the elements it could double as a kick butt garage tank for the big cats!!

Looks like I have a lil time and already have plans to either line the tub with a few coats of Rubberizeit or slam a pond liner in it.
