This is very fantastic the your rays survive in this condition of the water. I think that sometime we are all think to much to maintain the fish in the best quality of water all the time and that cause us very panic. These might cause so many people left this hobby in very short period of time.

Nature still nature anyhow. I wish i will see you ray breed and see the pups of them

If you are still looking for your big female please sometime visit and leave me comments in my website (www.anubiashouse.com)

your rays look great alberto...

Glad to see everyone is doing fine! :)

Thank you guys.

At this moment in Portugal is doing hot. But rays are fine and i think they are loving the new home :D

One thing that i notice is that they don't grow very fast, like in home aquaria. I don't feed them every day, so i think it's normal that they don't grow faster. But they are in good shape ;)

That is incredible; thanks for the update!

Alberto, I read this whole thread and I was amazed. Although I have a few concerns.. Do you think a pup will tolerate that kind of environment? I noticed the rays that you put in there were at decent size. I would like to know if a pup ( doesn't have to be new born) will be able to survive there. Also by any chance, is it possible if you could check your water parameters in that pond? I would like to know..

Other than that, you are a genius. I'm happy to see someone using the K.I.S.S method. Looking forward to hear from you!

I'm pretty sure that a pup will live very well in this environment. No problems for sure ;)

I haven't put pups in this pond/tank because at begining i was affraid, but now i'm pretty sure that there will be no problems. They will love it, for sure.

PH is 7.5 and amonia 0 ;)
Other parameters i don't measure. I have never need :D
