well he has been named Capone because t kinda looks like carapo and he lives up to the name because he is aggressive towards just about everything that gets near his hideout so today I finished setting up the 55 gallon and moved him down there with a mature filter unfortunately it's a little bright so I need to get some frogbit but I took some pictures of him before I put his hideout in it or the plants he is still real dark almost black but I hope with him being by himself he will not be as stressed out

Throw some floating plants in there. For coverage and dim the light way down. Then you may see it out more. Atleast it'll feed a bit better.

Yea...crap it's a carapo lol.

Great name we had a bullog named capone r.i.p also an oscar

I too his hide out earlier when I put food in the tank and he didn't come out and after 30 seconds of him in a wtf moment he accidentally discovered the food and went to town. After he was finished eating he hid in the plastic plants so I put his hide back in there and turned the light above it off and I'm probably going to leave it off till I can get some floating plants

here he is hiding

One of your fish jumped out the tank. It's the big white one.
