give him a bit of time to settle in and get his strength back then you can get him eatting shrimp.. let feeders only be temporary

it was probably better to leave him there because you dont have him in the right tank size. unless you plan to upgrade that save was pointless.

the tank they put him in at the lfs was a 90 gallon tank with 5-6 nearly fully grown silver dollars + some other cichlids
now you tell me.. was it worth the save? and he wasnt eating much in that tank, now that i brought him home hes eating all the time

Once he starts waiting for you at the top for food, try throw in some small shrimp or krill.
