The shipping is so expensive because they are sending you Live fish, and guaranteeing them. The question now is how much do you really want that 1 particular fish, and whether you want to spend $40 or $50 just for the shipping cost to get it, or are you willing to hunt around and hope that some LFS happens to get in what you are looking for (or is able to order it for you).

He's great! I moved him to a smaller tank cause I'm moving in a few weeks and have to break down the main tank for a couple months till the new house is built! Active as ever and everywhere in the tank, I'll post up pictures in a few:)

Well guys I moved him into a 10g for the next 4-6 weeks till I can get my 55g rack set up. The tank has an ac70 to provide the proper water flow and overkill filtration for this little guy. He's sharing it with a pair of male convicts about and inch each and 4 corydoras. I'm running bare bottom to maintain a clean environment to lessen the stress. Added DW to simulate a "black water" feel to the tank, but LED's kinda defeat the dim dark look haha. Anyways, here's a few pics to update you guys. Enjoy!

Ryan, those pics are beautiful. I almost bought me a new Sunshine Pleco, but when I saw this Blue Panaque Pleco in the tank right next to it, I decided to get Blue-ie.
