I can assure you he is not deformed.
The nuchal hump, that may not be common in EBjDs, appeared in this male because of his dominance of a tank full of massive blues.
Similar to how Flowerhorns koks' grow larger when they are more aggressive. Ive also seen Haits, Festaes, and other cichlids who normally dont grown humps, do so because of their brute dominance and aggressive personality.
Rick took several years to develop these strains, and they are the healthiest strain Ive seen
