I don't particularly care about testicles, violence, or any debate around the same, BUT, Zoo has a very valid point. There should be a place where serious, ,adult ( not in the porno sense, mind ) stuff could/should be debated.

This used to be the scene in the Lounge and it was often enriching and fun.

Nobody understands the need to protect young ones more than I ( with the collection of young'uns I keep ) and the need to "protect" them should be tantamount.

On the other hand, however, if MFK looses some of its "broader than fish perspectives ( as it sometimes seems to be the trend ) there's a risk some people will start to fade away ( some good ones have, already , regrettably ).

is there no way to create some sort of system that would work in terms of keeping the younger out of some places? You guys are the computer experts....

This topic has already been debated aswell as polled and it was deemed VERY quickly that this "adult" lounge theme will not work for MFK. Besides the site being for family eyes, we don't want to exclude members from certain coverstations and areas because of age, aswell as there also being a fact that there is NO way MFK can regulate age and therefor this proposed area so the keeping of youngin's safe idea on mfk just doesn't work- so everything is safe.

I remember there was a thread on something like this a while back that i think bigspizz started? ( I could be wrong) and they suggested a 18+ place. I mean, i wouldn't be able to join it because i'm 15, but i don't see how it could hurt.
There's any number of worse sites kids could go to even if we could curse like sailors on here.

Mig - There are def. some age verifying programs out there but given that this is a fish website the expense of age verification would be alot to ask of Neo. He already shells out THOUSANDS of dollars for this site to exist (Thanks Boss man). To ask him to set something additional up so that people can discuss testicles is a bit much to ask.

I doubt any MOD would even want to sign up for that crazy mess either! - lol
