all right.... i KNEW i would get some one screaming. " that fish gets 12" long! your so cruel!" but as of right now she is 1" in a 55g plenty happy and tottaly well cared for. baby french angelfish are cleaners like neon gobies and cleaner shrimp.... the hang out in one " station" for weeks. they cover very little ground while looking for food while they are juvies. i actually saw the same three 5'' angel fish in the same place every day for two weeks. ive already got a person with a 280g ready to take her when she hits 6'' believe me... i got it handeled
Take it all in stride. They are just looking out for the fishes best interest. You have a future home don't worry about it. Great looking fish BTW. One of my all time favorites.
i cought it... i saw it and the two others it was with two days before at anothe spot abot 25 feet away. i was snorkeling a pinned her in a hole and covered it with the net. i had to hold bmy breathe for a LONG time but she eventually went into my net and i pulled her up. the other two were aprox 5" and 6"
so long as i dont sell it its perfectly legal to catch and keep a non game fish cought from a non protected area.
