Another option would be a Bristlenose Pleco, which gives you choices of normal/albino/calico x normal/longfin x male/female.

I'm looking for something small so otto's fit my choice. Also, I don't know how good the bristlenose's would be with the thin leaves of dwarf hair grass.

15gal is too small for SAE IMO...

i agree with this, but not the BN pleco part. twig/farlowella cats would look excellent in this tank and would do fine with your plants. they would also keep the algae down very well.
