Out of all the LFS' here in the Dallas area, only one sells Polleni. They have a few now for $79.99 each at 6-8". On the other hand, whenever someone trades a 12"-13" Midas, they tell you to make them an offer. They once offered me an awesome Midas for $10.00!!

you guys are right i like him but he is probably too big a price. ty
if i do change my mind then i will probably buy him just because of his personality. (he is the most aggressive midas i've ever seen)ty agen

I wouldn't trade your fish for the others. Your fish are worth alot more than the Midas and arrow cichlid. Plus I like the markings and colors of the fish you have now but you may not. You can trade them if you want I just think it's a little unfair on yourside.

I agree :) Polleni are still rare in the hobby.. Not as much as they used to be.. But in my opinion you are trading a fish not many have, for one that falls off of trees and pays you to take it :) Both have the same Tude in my opinion..

Though If you think it is a deal then you should do it . But I would rather se4e the Polleni go somewhere that it will be loved and possibly implemented in a breeding project :)

But i am sporatic so ... Take it for what it's worth :)

Midas are nice :)

ty if i can find it a nice home then i will give it, but it beats up my community and i dont really want to devote one of my tanks to it because i originaly bought it to be with gts, cons and bichirs. if someone wants it i will willingly hand it over aslong as you could pick it up in colorado spring or denver and prove it will be happy.:naughty: it does get along with big oscars and bichirs but not smaller fish :)

If you are serious about getting rid of the polleni, PM me I have a tank that I could devote to it.

I'm in Thornton, just north of Denver.

so what do you guys think about the true midas for 40$ thats all i like right now but if you guys dont think thats a good deal i prolly wont do that. i also saw a pair of red D's breeding, in good condition all for 60$ if thats better so wat do you think?
