JÄGER aquarium heater

I got this new heater.. the box says submersible, but the heater itself says there is a line on the top of the heater, says do not immerse beyond this line..

So is this heater fully submersible or what?

Are you sure it doesn't say "Minimum Water Level" ?

no there not submersible i a couple of them and if you submerge them sometimes water will leak into your heater

every Ebo Jager heater i ever saw was fullly submersible

That's strange, mine are completely submersible. Different model maybe.

I like how you got the Umlaut right

Those heaters are fully submersible! I think the line either gives the minimum water level (as Plumber suggested) or the recommended water level. Please double-check.

Go to this link and download the pdf to see the manu, it says to not submerge.
