Tiger barbs or buenos ares tetras are good. In a 75g you will want 6+.

tigers are good choice for dithers, btw you may have to bring back your O to your LFS, because like you a month ago I've tried to put my oscar with the JD, after sometime you'll see my O, beaten up. Almost 'playing dead', it's what they do whenever I do the WC, which they do when they're beat up, in sideways, breathing slowly, and the thing before that, the O was first in the tank, he got evicted by the JD in his own territory.
that's unfortunate ive always wanted an Oscar, but I guess ill bring him back once he is all healed and ill use the credit to get a severum, GT and some tiger barbs. I should also probably try to get some more rock work and drift wood for hiding spots. My JD has beautiful colouring so I don't really want to get rid of him. Thank you for your help !!
