Sounds good. Thanks. She doesn't go near the top so I put her in a breeder net thats near the top. I figured if I could isolate her to the top then she would be able to see and smell the food. Since most of my food is floating food. Is this a good idea or should I release her back into the tank to free swim on the bottom. It's only been a week, a fish his size will be fine for another week. If you still have some flakes left over, see if he will eat it.

Yea I saw her biting and struggle to swim through the net and I felt bad. I'm such a whimp. Seeing my baby like that broke my heart so I let her back. LolI'd release her back in, being in the net will probably stress her out big time and she won't feed through that alone
I wish that was the case. I've dropped pellets in there before and left came back 30 minutes later and not a single pellet missing. :/My jack will not eat if i'm watching him, but you turn your back for 5 min and all the food is gone. just something to think about.
He's over fed though...
I haven't checked the actual temp but it should be somewhere between 77-83 Fwait him out, keep the water pristine, whats tank temp?
word. I'll check it. thxcheck it out. cold fish have a lower appetite to no appetite. not saying is the issue but worth looking into.
