If you have an extra tank like a QT tank I'd move him now bulk him up then return him when he's big enough to compete with the others more easily.

JD's don't grow too slowly IME. About the same as my FM did. GT was slower though. Feed him earthworms and other high protein food and he'll grow fairly quickly

i would remove him, hes is at the bottom off dominace list, so he wil get less food which will make him grow even slower.

Also people saying you can get the cheap, still doesnt allow mistreatment to something livng.

I'd say it all depends on how much you really care about him. personally if there a places to hide I would just leave him be. JDs like to hide anyways when they are smaller.
