Jack Dempsey's and EBJD

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Np, always happy to help. Just remember tho those Jack's and terror will eventually need to get an upgrade in tank size later in life. All of them will get upto 8+inches. The green terror is a gentle giant compared to a convict cichlid. Granted it's still name terror for a good reason. I'll tell you the same thing I tell almost everyone about convicts. They say a convict is named because of the colors they get, but I say they are named convicts because of the attitude they have.
Thank you for the heads up. Bigger tank is going in the house when we move in soon and will move them over. Absolutely beautiful fish. Glad I finally got everything going. Thanks again.

What's up everyone? What is a good pleco (besides a common pleco) to put in with my Dempsey's and green terror?

Honestly I would go with a type of cactus pleco. They get to a decent size while also staying smaller then a Titanic or a common pleco. They also, as the name suggests, develop more of a spiky armour which would provide extra defense from more aggressive Cichlids. Personally I'd like to get a black dragon cactus pleco, basically looks like an extra spiky pleco dipped in oil.
