The dorsal fin will have a black blotch on it if its a female ,i cant really tell from your pics but mine is much smaller i can easily pick out the male from females in my tank.

A beauty...now get a bigger tank and buy a JD as well. I love the Texas in green or blue. You have a nice one for sure.
