What type if toga are you keeping with him? How quick do they grow? Mine mangrove jacks only 8cm, i've got him with a leichardti Saratoga and a small bullrout in a 220g 6x2.5x2

American Mangrove Snapper = Lutjanus griseus
Australian Mangrove Jack = Lutjanus argentimaculatus

How fast do they grow mate? And how do you get them eatting pellets or anything other then live food? I'm alwas changing him from brackish to fresh, like every few weeks, is this good? Where should I keep it at? They're so hardy ay

I have him with a Jardini. I had him eating pellets in his old tank, but his diet consists of mainly prawns and whitebait with the occasional yabbie when I catch them. I wouldnt keep changing his water conditions, I keep a bit of salt in my tank, I put in about 250g of salt every water change. They are an awesome fish, my favourite.

A store here used to bring in small ones and they labeled them as red fin Datnoids.I knew they were not dats but the update picture looks like a completely different fish.What a change from juvi to adult.
