I seen this guy twice at a local fish store near my work. His fins are a mess, he has drop eye and his mouth in split in two.... but he is huge. When I'm there I think close to three foot.

He was kept in a 75g tank his entire life and split his face several times from jumping out of the tank. Then they gave him to the store. felt bad for him. Not sure what the store is asking for him...

At least he's upgraded at the fish store, not there fault for the irresponsible owners. They said he eats well, and he's active in the tank. Hopefully someone will give a good home, thats why I posted it. He may not be pretty but he's still very impressive in size.

what did the fish store do? if you want them to get a 300g show tank then by all means pm the OP and donate the money to them, they are just doing their job.


As for the aro I really hope someone that can house him picks him up, hate to see him live his last days at a fish store.
 
i thought the fish store kept him in a 75g all his life
then i wished the lfs harm

but if not, then good job for taking him in from the as hole that had him first.

its cruel to see that, shame
 
I feel so bad for this fella, if i had the room I would take him! Kudos for the petstore that took him in, as for the previous owners I hope a swarm of mosquitos show em a good time!
 
he seems like a good fish. not skiddish and very interested in you when you come to the tank. That pic was his reaction when I kneeled down to take the pic, he came right up to me. he is at the fish tank in saddle brook if anyone is interested and can properly house the beast.
