I seen this guy twice at a local fish store near my work. His fins are a mess, he has drop eye and his mouth in split in two.... but he is huge. When I'm there I think close to three foot.

He was kept in a 75g tank his entire life and split his face several times from jumping out of the tank. Then they gave him to the store. felt bad for him. Not sure what the store is asking for him...

I saw him too. He was at ''The Fish Tank'' in Saddle Brook on Rte 46? That aro was HUGE!! but he sure was messed up lookin. I couldn't believe the LFS kept him in that tank with an open top. I was tellin one of the employees that I hope they cover that tank at night cuz one morning you're gonna come in to him shrivvled up on the floor.

That silver looks like he's had a pretty rough life! I don't know how the previous owner can be so irresponsible! Pretty pathetic that people buy fish knowing they can't provide the proper living conditions for these animals.

the LFS should burn down and the owner die a horrible death

You're not much better talking like that..... completely inappropriate.

he looks like an older arow... the shot is showing his worst.. but i bet he is a beauty in the right environment... i hope someone adopts him.. the store should not charge for someone giving him a good home.. maybe a small donation..

I'd just put him out of his misery if i were the owner....

This fish proves you can keep an Arowana in a 75 gallon tank for life :nilly:
Unfortunately for the fish it was just like serving time in a Supermax Penetentiary.

So take heed all you "oh a fish will only grow as big as the tank it's kept in" people....NOT!
