Still not true....Moving things, simply starts the pecking order either all the way over or shakes it up a bit. I have had a fish be a boss with 1 arraignment, and get pussafied with just some decor change. If there is chaos a decor change is suggested, find the arrangement that works best for you and the fish. And make changes as needed....I see what you whole point was and mostly agree. The highlighted section was the only question I had....

I think a pair of sevs, a pair of FMs, and a bichir would work. I kept a couple bichirs with a pair of sevs in a 55gal till the sevs outgrew it. I wouldnt add a JD tho cuz they might outgrow a 75 and they could possibly be too aggresive. But i u do endup adding a JD. add it last so it less likely to try and dominate the tank. those r my thoughts on it. let us know wut u end up gettin.

I like this mix also, so the Jack will get bigger then the Sevs right? I was thinking the other way, but I have looked at so many different sights I could easily be getting things mixed up..and then of coarse you have one site saying one thing and another site saying the exact opposite!
How long does it take a JD to grow, if say I got it small like 4" or so..do they grow rather quickly?
Btw, if I get a dempsey...I think I'll call him Willy (for william) ya know Jack Dempsey's born name LOL!! Hey to bad they don't have a fish named after Mahomid(ms?) or Joe frazer!! That would be a set up I'd have to get...you could put ropes around the tank to look like a ring and ...Ok I'll stop, the dork is coming out in me!

Sevs are not known for aggression,but they can most deffinantly hold thier own,they can go with JD"s,firemouths or whatever else you wanted.But as stated they do get pretty big.

Guys I'm sooooo confused, I don't know what I want..glad I have time to look...now I've been lookin at Green terrors too they are pretty cool lookin!

BLAAAAH, so now I'm looking at Dempsey, Sevs, FM, oh and Cons!! OK I just have to move so I can have more room and I can get like 20 HUGE tanks then I can just have it all!!!

Ok guys, you are probably wishing I'd just go back to AC and stay there aren't ya, but I've been looking some more and now this is what I've come up with.
If I go Severum w/ possible tank mates: Fetivums, Acaras, convicts, angels?? I know I can't have them all what I want to know is any that are a definate NO.

If I go Dempsey w/ possible tank mates: Blue Acaras, red/green terrors firemouth, rainbow. Again I know NOT all these could go in my tank, this is again any that are a definate NO.
