I have a 6-7 inch male jag and he's in a 210 with other tank mates he was fairly laid back but of all of sudden is chasing fish constantly and has turned psycho is it because I have a female in the tank about 4 inches is he starting to get breeding aggression?

If they are spending time near each other a lot and in a specific place possibly. If they aren't you just may have a aggressive fish. That is around the size they start to come into their own and start acting aggressive at least from my experience. What are the other tank mates, size, gender if possible

male jags are/can be quite psycho, esp if you have a female in the tank. I would watch this one closely.

They have a spot where they have been spending a lot of time together. I have a buttikoferi midevil flowerhorn mayan all around 4-5 inches

if he is going into mating mode, the female will need a place to hide or get away from him. Again horny male jags can be very very aggressive. killing there mate is not unusual if she can not get away from him.

Can I just remove the female?[/QUOTE

long as you have a tank, i have a single female jag by her self, WC in a 90g by herself because she is so mean. she literally jumped out of the water yesterday to attack the vacuum hose before I even had a chance to put it in the water. she hates that vacuum hose.

I have another female jag in the Oscar tank, no issues, WC do tend to be meaner and pickier eaters than aquarium bread.
