ill never know why theres some people on here that says the tail fin doesnt count. the entire fish counts fron lip to end of tail anywere ive ever been. i think everyone should use the same measurement system that the fishing laws use for length requirements. plus all fish sold from vendors and wholesalers and fish stores include the tails. its nonsense not to. there part of the animal. its like saying im 5 ft 7 if you dont count my feet.

IMO

Most fish do not get the tail included when measured......Atleast scienitifically-Hobby wise most tend to include the tail....

Jags can reach 18+ ( tail included) after about 7-8 years of age. Most stay at a range of 13-16".

Thx for yhe comment but I will continue to include the tail just like any government authority.

Yes they are.12" imo is a lower end average
