No need to be defensive, I was merely stating the scientific facts that explains why horses and zebras can breed and why his fish can't. I admit I've seen some crazy cichlid hybrids, but a jag x oscar hybrid is not possible. Especially since they've both been so common in the hobby. They would have already be exploited if the combination was possible.

If by some unforeseen chance that these eggs are viable and hatch, you will have truly strange hybrids. Would they all look the same or would each have distinct features? What eating and territorial habits would a Jagoscar have? I doubt if it's possible but I'm really interested to see what happens.
