I finally put my jags in the same tan seperated by a divider. But I have noticed that over the past 48hrs they will swim up next to each other and vibrate there fins, even there bodys on occasion. Just wondering what this is. They also swim side by side along the divider. Any help would be great.

i would remove the divider and see how they do. we talking a male and female yes? can just be an acknowledgement that i see you, this would be the fin vibration, large swishing from side to side a courting thing. either digging? or cleaning a flat surface? are they dark, as in patern?

jags bread like cats, mated pair will lip lock first, you know it will not work if the female takes to hiding at the top of the tank, she will not swim the tank as the male has taken it. if at any time the female is acting bullied separate, male will kill the female if given enough time. So up to you to decide this aint going to work this week, try it again a few down the line and watch the female for signs of nesting.

male jags are wife abusing dicks and lousy parents, in the wild, once the wigglers become free swimmers the male takes a hike, he off looking for another female to spawn with. because we keep them in a tank, he has no other females or any ware to go, so he starts beating on the female to spawn again.

:ROFL::ROFL:...Very true though.
Remove the divider , observe very carefully for the next 12 - 24 hours.
Look out for any overtly aggressive behavior.
I had a pair which were very good parents.
