jag cichlid

Depends on the temperments of the individual fish. Most of the time jags that are raised with other fish will tolerate their presence. But just in case i would try to add some dither fish and/or have a divider handy in case the jag wants to kick some a55. I think a jag would own a JD hands down at adult size.

I had to give away my JD because the Jag was picking on the JD and eventually, Everyone was picking on the JD.

They should be fine for now, until the jag starts getting bigger! Maybe they will get used to each other and not have problems,...but then again. Thats one of the reasons I like Jags, they are mean!!

I used to have my Jag in a 40 gallon when he was smaller and at half the size of an Oscar, he beat the crap out of him. Had to find the oscar a new home. I'm really nervous about putting anything in the Jag's new 90 gallon home ( he is now 11-12") although he does share it with 3 spotted raphael cats with no issues.
