jag fry die off!!!!

I have talked to other people that spawn them and they had a lot of problems with the fry.

When I had my spawning pair I noticed that if I would leave them with the parents untill they were a couple of weeks old I would have a lot more make it.

I think that they eat off the parents slime.

absolutely true I breed mayans they do eat slime off the parents.

They would probably depend on the parents. I noticed my convicts were growing better, swimming more and generally healthier when left with thier parents.

thanks for the advice guys... unfortunately i was on vacation this last week and well, i came home to like maybe 10 fry left off this batch
my roomie was feeding them frozen cyclops from san francisco bay i think...
i think cannabalism is to blame. i feel pretty pissed off cuz i invested so much, and all it took was one week for things to go haywire. oh well, next time i guess. my jag pair have a week old batch of fry again, so i think there's more to look forward to.
